The Princess and the Pea

“Well, we’ll soon find that out,” thought the old queen. But she said nothing, went into the bed-room, took all the bedding off the bedstead, and laid a pea on the bottom; then she took twenty mattresses and laid them on the pea, and then twenty eider-down beds on top of the mattresses.

    • Thank you Angeli! Life and business took over–but I’m hopeful we will get this blog up and running again. I love the baby shirts and accessories you have on Etsy. They’re really cute.

  2. A wonderful piece, Jen. Everything is working really well-colors, characters, and story. I notice a little lifting. Looks and feels like you’re enjoying the medium.

  3. Yes, the colors are great. I like the expressions on the faces of the characters. The bear king is not happy schleping those mattresses around the palace!

  4. Great job, Jennifer! The colors are brilliant and the composition tells a story. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Wow! Love the colors and the great characters! Beautiful piece, Jen!
